    Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Boyden at1:30 p. m. Tuesday, November 11, for Mrs. William Gorzeman, 85, of Boyden, who died November 8.

    Services were conducted by the Rev. Henry Schoon and burial was made in the Boyden cemetery under the direction of the Co-operative Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

    Mrs. Gorzeman was preceded in death by her husband and one son.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry Victoria, of Boyden; two brothers in The Netherlands; and three grandchildren.

    William Gorzeman, Jr. was born on September 1, 1912 near Hull passed away on March 19, 1945 at a Sioux City hospital at the age of 32 years, 6 months and 19 days.

    He was graduated from the Boyden High school in 1931.

    Those who survive him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Gorzeman and one sister, Barbara, Mrs. Henry Victoria of Sheldon.

    Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the First Reformed church with Rev. Brink officiating. Pallbearers were: Gerrit Kooiman, Nick De Haas, Herman Meester, Art Roggen, John Rensink, Jr. and Ray Smit.

    Those who attended the funeral from out of town were, Mr. and Mrs. Len Vander Linden of Doon, Mr. and Mrs. John Landegent and children of Rock Valley, Mr. and Mrs. William Vander Linden and children of Rock Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Vander Linden and family of Sioux Center, Jake Gorzeman of and Mrs. William Hoekstra of Hull, Mrs. Jerry Dykstra, Mrs. Betty Schock of Sheldon, Mrs. John De Haan of Orange City, Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Wolfswinkel and son of Sibley, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Holstein and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dyker of Rock Rapids.

    Barbara Victoria, 69, died Thursday, November 17, 1988, in a Sioux Falls hospital.

    Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 19, in Lyon County First Presbyterian Church, rural George, with Pastor Randall Richmond officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Bolin Funeral Home of George.

    Barbara Grozeman [Gorzeman] was born November 16, 1919, in Sioux County. She lived most of her life in the Boyden and Hull area.

    She married Henry Victoria August 8, 1941. He died in 1986. She was a member of the Lyon County First Presbyterian Church of George.

    Survivors include a son, Richard of Boyden; two daughters, Barbara Victoria of Sioux City and Bonnie (Mrs. Marlow) Franken of Sioux Center and one granddaughter.
